Position Overview
Australia RTS is currently accepting applications on behalf of civil engineering contractors undertaking road and stormwater renewal works across Western Sydney. Involves trench shoring assistance, pipe handling, backfilling, and compaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist skilled pipelayers with stormwater and sewer pipe installation.
• Safe manual handling of bedding gravel, conduit, and pre-cast pits.
• Operate vibratory plate compactors and handheld compaction rammers.
• Maintain site perimeter fencing and pedestrian traffic safety.
• Safe manual handling of bedding gravel, conduit, and pre-cast pits.

Skills & Experience Requirements
• Valid General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Demonstrated civil site experience or heavy manual trade background.
• Commitment to zero-harm workplace health and safety practices.
• PPE: Hard hat, hi-vis clothing, safety glasses, steel-cap work boots.

Required Licences & Certifications
CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card). Confined space or RIW card beneficial.
